Yass method exercise versus all other forms of treatment for resolving pain!

So many of you have been sent for physical therapy, aquatic therapy, Pilates or told to do aerobic exercises like bicycles or treadmills to resolve your pain. There is a reason that success has not been achieved through these means.

The reason pain occurs is because there are specific muscles that are not strong enough or are in balanced leading to an inability to perform functional tasks without symptom. The Yass  method focuses on identifying the specific muscles. Once identified a progressive resistance form of strength training must be performed to strengthen the specific muscles. This means that the muscles must be identified, and isolated when performing the exercise. Most importantly progressive resistance must be applied to the muscle to make it strong enough to perform the functional task without breaking down.
