Why even when the cause of your pain is thought to be muscular you still don’t resolve your symptoms.

The MRI is baseless; period. The structural variations identified like herniated discs, stenosis, arthritis, herniated discss, pinched nerves and the alike were there years if not decades before you had your pain. The scam of the existing system is that the MRI is taken when you are having pain. So the first time the structural variation is identified is when you are having pain and this allows the false narrative to be created that the structural variation is the cause of the pain. If an MRI were taken a year before you had pain the results would be identical. The structural variation took years to develop. The evidence reeks of this fact. Over the age of 60, 90% of those without back pain have bulging or degenerative discs. Over 85% of people with back pain cannot have their pain attributed to a spinal abnormality like a herniated disc or stenosis. The failure rate for back surgery is over 70%. The medical establishment had to coin the phrase “failed back surgery syndrome” to account for all the people with the same symptoms after surgery as before. 22 million Americans addicted to prescription pain medication. The use of revision for hip and knee replacement is out of control. And yet the medical establishment will continue to promote they are doing the right thing by use of the MRI as the primary mechanism to diagnose the cause of pain. You go to them with the best of intentions. What you don’t realize is that they are programmed from school through training to believe that this system works and is valid. That is with all the evidence that the more the medical establishment attempts to treat chronic pain, the more people suffer from it and the longer they suffer with it.

You are simply beating a dead horse if you continue to seek attention for your pain through this system, regardless of the type of specialist you see. For some people they have come to the conclusion that the cause of their pain is muscular. They had to figure this out on their own. They are suggested it to those treating them but were ignored and told that makes no sense. Again this is from medical practitioners who are basically brainwashed through their education and training.

Those who have figured out the cause is muscular try to figure out what to do to make their muscles stronger. Most are under the false premise that physical therapy is the proper course of action. They get some type of treatment and in most cases are given some type of stretches and maybe some type of calisthenic movements. Usually the person is given a sheet of exercises to do at home every day what they are doing at the therapy session. Usually the person is confounded by this fact and they stop treatment.  Now they are back to square one knowing that something is wrong with their muscles but what to do about it.

This is where you need to get the Yass method. The Yass method interprets the body’s presentation of symptoms to identify the tissue eliciting those symptoms because the tissue is trying to create conscious awareness of the distress of the tissue so treatment can be performed to end the distress. This must be understood. Just like the heart elicits pain at the left chest and arm, the kidney elicits lower back pain, the lung elicits pain at the upper back, all tissues when in distress elicit a very specific set of symptoms. The Yass method can identify all tissues through the interpretation of symptoms. This includes bones, muscles and nerves. In more than 95 to 98% of cases, the cause is muscular.

This is where you must have an ability to identify which muscles are not working properly. The Yass method can do so through a series of physical tests performed in an evaluation. Once identified, the proper exercises must be utilized to isolate the affected muscles. The use of progressive resistance must be understood to cause the muscles to become stronger so they can perform your functional tasks without straining and eliciting symptoms. The nuance of strength training must be understood to allow a person to be able to isolate muscles so they can maximize the ability of these muscles to get stronger in the shortest period of time. This is what the Yass method does and it is the only method I am aware with this capacity. Other methods have you squeezing your butt muscles to get them stronger. This is insane. You need to cause a muscle to work against progressive resistance to get it stronger. Some methods have you doing exercises based on moving forward or backward. This is insane. Muscles work together to perform specific functional tasks. You need to be able to understand which muscles are not working properly by looking at improper movement patterns or postures. Some methods have you balancing on one foot to perform exercises. This is insane. Balancing when performing exercise only causes the muscles needed to balance to have to work harder taking energy away from the muscle you are trying to exercise and get stronger. I can go on and on about all the false types of methods that are supposedly designed to address muscle but are completely invalid and ineffective.

If you have come to the conclusion that the cause of your pain is muscular, bravo! Now you need to get the right method that can help you identify which muscles are involved and how to strengthen them appropriately so you can perform your functional tasks without straining and eliciting pain any longer. You will not resolve the cause of your pain through the existing medical model; even if they lead you toward the idea that the cause of the pain is muscular. You have to take responsibility of your care into your own hands, just as thousands of others have who found the Yass method and resolved their symptoms and reclaimed their lives. Your chance is now.
