An important update about the time frame for the Fort Lauderdale, Florida event!

In scheduling the Ft. Lauderdale event I incorrectly presented the dates for the event as being from January 23th-January 27th. I am sorry to say that due to  a conflict in scheduling associated with my office in St Augustine, Florida, the dates for the Ft Lauderdale event will be moved one week later to January 30th-February 3rd. I hope that this does not affect anybody’s desire to seek treatment through the Yass method or get a lecture for a medical facility to see how the Yass method can better diagnose and treat the symptoms of their patients. So far the response to the announcement of the event has been very good and I am excited as always to bring my message and my method that chronic pain can be resolved through a proper diagnosis derived from an interpretation of the body’s presentation of symptoms versus the completely invalid and worthless use of the MRI as the primary method of identifying the cause of pain.

People must know that they have a 90% chance of being misdiagnosed if they chose to allow the MRI to be the primary mechanism for diagnosing the cause of their pain. Studies have shown over the age of 60 that 90% of people with no back pain can be found to have bulging or degenerative discs while another study showed over 85% of people with back pain cannot have their pain associated with structural variations like herniated discs or stenosis. This was performed by the American College of Physicians in 2007 at which time they recommended that MRIs no longer be used to identify the cause of lower back pain. The simplest understanding of why so many people are diagnosed can be seen in this example. Let’s say you have a back muscle in spasm causing lower back pain and you seek medical treatment. An MRI will be recommended and a herniated disc or stenosis will be identified. What do you think will be treated; the herniated disc or stenosis. So for the next few years you will get treatment all under the diagnosis of a herniated disc or stenosis. I am sure this sounds very familiar to many of you. You keep getting treatment and for many of you this includes multiple back surgeries and you still have pain if not more pain. No one has an answer for you. The answer should be clear now. The wrong tissue has been diagnosed because muscular causes cannot show up on diagnostic tests nor is there any medical specialist educated or equipped to identify or treat these causes.

That is why I am so strong in my conviction to make the Yass method available to as many people as possible. The Yass method ignores diagnostic test findings and focuses on an interpretation of the body’s presentation of symptoms to properly identify the tissue eliciting your symptoms. In more than 95% of cases the cause is muscular and with just some basic isolated progressive resistance exercises the appropriate muscles can be strengthen to the point where there is no reason for them to strain and elicit pain leading to a full return of functional capacity. Thousands have benefited from this method over my 2 decades of treating patients. I implore you to learn more about the Yass method by going to my website, or my youtube page, dr mitchell yass or my facebook page dr mitchell yass. Understand the theory behind why this revolutionary method is irrifutable in its ability to properly diagnose the tissue eliciting the symptoms being experienced.

If you would like to make an appointment to be treated or for a lecture or have questions, please contact my wife Lisa at her email address: She makes all my appointments and can answer all questions. I hope to see you in Ft Lauderdale. This is your time to resolve your pain and reclaim your life!
