It is alittle more than a week until I head down to Ft Lauderdale to treat people in south Florida. If you are suffering in chronic pain and have been unable to resolve your symptoms, this is your chance to be treated through the Yass method. If you are tired of seeing endless medical specialists or getting procedure after procedure and still having the same is not increased pain, this is your chance to stop the cycle and get the right diagnosis and the right treatment.

The reason your pain is still unresolved is because you have not gotten the right diagnosis. This means that for every treatment you have received, the wrong tissue has been treated. Since pain is an indication of a tissue in distress, if a procedure is performed and the pain still exists after the procedure, clearly the wrong tissue was treated. If the right tissue eliciting the symptoms is identified and a procedure is performed to resolve the distress of the tissue, then the distress would be ended and there would no reason for the symptoms to be continued. This is explanation for why chronic pain exists. Chronic pain in almost all cases is nothing more than misdiagnosed acute pain.

What is the reason for all the misdiagnoses? In almost every case it is the use of the MRI as the primary mechanism to diagnose. The MRI simply finds structural variations like herniated discs, stenosis, arthritis, meniscal tears, compression fractures and the alike. Since these structural variations are identified at the time you are having pain, an attempt to correlate the structural variation as the cause of your pain is made. But what if you took an MRI a day, a week or a month before you had pain, you would see that the MRI results would be exactly the same as if you took them when you were in pain. These structural variations take years to develop because they are slow and progressive in nature. They were there before you had pain, while you have pain and after you have pain. They do not elicit symptoms and require no intervention. The idea that they are identified at the time you have pain and therefore they are the cause of your pain and require an intervention to resolve your pain is the greatest fallacy ever created in the area of medical care.

To identify the true tissue eliciting your symptoms you need to be able to interpret the body’s presentation of symptoms to understand what tissue is creating those particular symptoms to create awareness of the distress of that tissue. In most cases, the tissue eliciting or responsible for symptoms is muscle. Unfortunately these types of causes cannot show up on diagnostic tests nor is there any medical speciality educated or trained to identify them. A strained lower back muscle, an imbalance between the front thigh and back thigh muscles creating excessive compression of the knee cap causing knee pain or muscle strains of the muscles responsible for shoulder function leading to shoulder pain will never show up on diagnostic tests. A strain of a muscle near the hip region can cause pain at the side of the pelvis, the gluteal region or the groin. These will never show up. Sciatica will falsely be associated with a structural variation at the lumbar spine and yet this is completely false. Sciatica in almost all cases is the result of a strained muscle in the gluteal region called the piriformis impinging on the sciatic nerve. This will never show up or be diagnosed.

All of these causes just described would be properly diagnosed through the use of the Yass method saving unnecessary procedures including surgeries from being performed, worthless epidural nerve blocks or cortisone shots or the opportunity for addiction to prescription pain medication from occurring.

I will be in Ft Lauderdale from Monday-Friday, January 30-February 3rd. I strongly suggest you take this opportunity to get the right diagnosis and the right treatment to end your symptoms and reclaim your life. If you are looking for treatment not during this time frame, I am always available at my office in St Augustine Florida or can perform a Skype computer evaluation if this is too difficult to get to.

If you would like to make an appointment  or are interested in me providing a 1-2 hour lecture to your medical facility to learn about how to use the Yass method to resolve the symptoms of your patients, please contact my wife Lisa at her email address: [email protected]. She makes all appointments for me and can answer any questions.

I look forward to seeing you in Ft Lauderdale. Let’s make this you chance to end your pain, regain your functional capacity and reclaim your life!
